We recently talked about The Design Studio™ from Hunter Douglas, and now we want to introduce you to its inaugural featured artist, Rebecca Atwood. At Windows & More here in the Lake Ozark area, we’re very excited about this addition to the offerings in The Design Studio—and we’re sure many of our customers will love these new textiles too. About the Featured Artist
Featured artist Rebecca Atwood grew up on Cape Cod. From her childhood, she developed an interest in color and patterns, which drove her to designing in the textile world. In her work, she blends traditional techniques with hand-painting to produce unique but classic patterns. Rebecca’s bestselling design book, Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home, offers clear ideas for how to use pattern when decorating the home. Her namesake collection of home goods includes bedding, fabrics, pillows, and accessories, all designed for mix-and-match freedom. She notes, “Creating patterns, textures, and color for the home is all about creating an environment that makes us feel good.”

Eight of Rebecca’s designs are in the featured artist series, available in side panels, draperies, and roller and Roman shades. “When creating this collection, I wanted to revisit traditional patterns, as well as soft textural patterns that are easy to layer into any space. Natural light is a luxury—it makes everything look better—and window treatments become such an important part of the room,” noted Atwood. All of the fabrics in the collection are designed to coordinate with many different Hunter Douglas window treatments, so adding something new to your room will be seamless. Plus, you have the opportunity to add custom hardware and accessories in numerous designs and finishes.
